During the 1960s British blues revival, Sonny Boy Williamson II became a towering icon for young European rock musicians. Touring the continent with the American Folk Blues Festival, he captivated audiences with his eccentric showmanship—frequently performing in a custom two-tone suit and a bowler hat, and famously playing the harmonica with his nose or entirely inside his mouth.

Legendary Collaborations: Between 1963 and 1965, he recorded highly influential live and studio tracks backing rising British groups like The Animals and The Yardbirds (featuring a young Eric Clapton).Core Standards: This prolific decade yielded his most enduring masterpieces, including "Help Me" and "Bring It On Home" (both released in 1963).Williamson returned to the Mississippi Delta in 1965, passing away later that year and leaving a permanent legacy as one of the most expressive harmonica virtuosos in music history.

This album includes 'Bring it on Home'.
