Surely every serious audiophile collection must contain some Progressive Rock (admittedly this is at the far end of the customary style), and The Alan Parsons Project, jointly between Alan and Eric Woolfson, is up there with the best. Amazing electronic/orchestral focus which was, amazingly enough, released in 1977.

I, Robot has become one of the best loved non-traditional rock albums, over the years, and continues to be a crowd favourite. Immaculate musicianship, creative songwriting and engineering, and a damn good pressing.
