Great compilation in the Psyche French series. They are a really interesting bunch of songs and worthy of collecting if you like things a little bit Frenchie.

The Psyché France collection, dedicated to a certain alternative French Pop, still has surprises in store for you with this 9th volume! This new immersion in the 60's and 70's will amaze you with its curiosities concocted by psychedelic visionaries and forgotten mavericks. Start this adventure with the boasting troublemaker Jacques Filh and his crazy anthem 'At the Drugstore on the Champs-Elysées' before listening to the very cult Calcium, of which Alain Sireguy was the drummer, and Jacqueline Taieb. Very rare, 'Anita' by Claude Guilain, who officiated in the group L'assemblage, will delight fans before a roaring instrumental from the Electric Max Band (alias Jean-Pierre Castelain), followed by 'De Roubaixyesque' by Patrick Roche and the sensual 'Femme' by Patcho. Further on, after the essential Triangle, Guy Skornik will open side B with 'Gurdjieff', from the album 'Pour Pauwels', before Voyage and especially Quo Vadis, produced by the grey eminence Igor Wakhévitch, give this side a more Rock twist. The same Wakhévitch will appear at the conclusion with his 'Sang pourpre', taken from the legendary album 'Docteur Faust' illustrated by Philippe Druillet. A whole era! But now, let the magic take you away!
