Released in 2023, 3D Country finds Brooklyn band Geese throwing almost everything into the mix. Indie rock, post-punk, country, funk and flashes of psychedelia collide in an album that feels unpredictable but never forced. Cameron Winter’s distinctive vocals add plenty of character, while the band sounds loose, energetic and brilliantly confident. From the wild title track to the more reflective moments, 3D Country is a wonderfully odd, adventurous record that rewards repeated listening and proves Geese are definitely worth watching.
