10 000 Hz Legend is the second studio album by French electronic music duo Air, released in May 2001. 
Moving away from the breezy, accessible chill-out pop of their debut Moon Safari, Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel crafted a darker, more experimental, and progressive electronic record. The ambitious sixty-minute project features longer song structures, robotic vocals, glitchy soundscapes, and notable guest contributions from Beck and suGar Yoshinaga. Initially polarising to critics upon release, it is now celebrated as a bold artistic pivot.
