Traffic

Traffic was a British group formed in the late 1960s that blended rock with folk, jazz, and psychedelic influences. Led by Steve Winwood alongside Jim Capaldi, Chris Wood, and Dave Mason, they developed a fluid, exploratory style built on improvisation and varied instrumentation. Their music often featured organ, flute, and acoustic elements, giving it a distinctive organic feel. Rather than following strict pop structures, they favored evolving arrangements and thoughtful lyrics, helping shape a more experimental direction in late 1960s and early 1970s British music.
