Tiny Ruins
Tiny Ruins is a New Zealand indie‑folk project led by Hollie Fullbrook, known for its intimate songwriting and atmospheric arrangements.
Tiny Ruins began as Hollie Fullbrook’s solo project in Auckland, later expanding into a full band with Cass Basil, Alex Freer, and Tom Healy. The group is rooted in delicate folk and dream‑pop influences, shaped by Fullbrook’s background as a cellist and her early exposure to classic songwriters. Their music has evolved across several albums, including Some Were Meant for Sea, Brightly Painted One, and the more recent Ceremony, which earned award nominations in 2024. Fullbrook also performs solo, touring extensively across New Zealand and abroad. Her writing often explores introspection, landscape, and human connection, giving Tiny Ruins a distinctive place in contemporary New Zealand music.
