Stereolab

Stereolab are an Anglo-French band formed in the early 1990s, known for blending alternative rock, electronic music, lounge, krautrock, and experimental pop. The group is led by Tim Gane and Laetitia Sadier, whose collaboration defines their distinctive sound. Their music features repetitive motorik rhythms, vintage synthesizers, and multilingual lyrics. Albums such as Emperor Tomato Ketchup and Dots and Loops showcase their fusion of pop accessibility with avant-garde experimentation. Stereolab developed a strong cult following and are influential in indie and experimental music circles, especially for their unique combination of political themes and futuristic retro aesthetics.
