Massive Attack

Massive Attack emerged from Bristol’s underground music scene and became one of the defining acts of trip hop during the 1990s. Their music combines hip hop rhythms, dub, soul, electronic textures and dark cinematic atmospheres, creating a sound that feels both intimate and unsettling. Founding members Robert Del Naja and Grant Marshall helped shape albums such as Blue Lines, Protection and Mezzanine, which influenced electronic and alternative music worldwide. The group is also known for politically engaged artwork, live visuals and collaborations with diverse vocalists.
