Blind Faith
Blind Faith were a short‑lived but influential 1969 British supergroup whose lone album left a lasting mark on rock history.
Blind Faith formed in 1969, uniting Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Steve Winwood, and Ric Grech, all already major figures in British rock. Their self‑titled debut blended psychedelic and blues‑rock, showcasing standout tracks like “Can’t Find My Way Home” and “Presence of the Lord.” The band debuted before 100,000 fans at Hyde Park, but internal tensions and limited material led to a brief existence. Despite lasting only months and releasing just one album, Blind Faith achieved major chart success and remain celebrated as one of rock’s earliest and most iconic supergroups.
