One of the definitive Blues albums from the 20th Century, actually all time. Unbelievable recording from 1964. stripped back with that incredible voice and guitar.

This is a very unusual box I managed to pick up in Tokyo recently. It is a limited Series produced by the high-end hifi manufacturer, Einstein Audio Components. This was distributed in Japan to, I suspect, the companies top level clients.

Unable to find any reference to this anywhere and it looks like this was produced from a pure analog recording. It is cut directly from the master tape. Guarantee of top quality etc...

What is unusual is there is no proper labels, so this may have been a test pressing? It also feels like a lacquer so more exploration needed to  get to the bottom of.

The brochure tells me 'Every record is an original and unique cut and you should take care not to damage your record..'

So it's a bit of a mystery to look into!

Condition

Looks very clean. Light dotty marks that don't seem to detract from the sound. Big and bold sounding. Not quite as polished as Analogue Productions but not the price.
