Great UK group and first of the 2-Tone era, this being ska, which again is derived from the mixing of Jamaican ska, rock, and elements of reggae. (plus punk, New Wave, etc)

Active from the late 70's to early 80's, The Specials set the standard for this genre, and this music is still very popular today.
